The allegations emerged after Taylor surprised Fantasia with an onstage Valentine’s Day re‑proposal, presenting her with an 11‑carat diamond ring during her Houston performance.
Joseph criticized the moment on Facebook, calling the gesture insincere and claimed it was connected to missing funds within Fantasia’s financial team. He alleged that a recently dismissed financial staff member told him money had gone unaccounted for and suggested Taylor played a role. Joseph also claimed Taylor attempted to shift blame onto others before they were fired.
In a livestream, Joseph said he felt compelled to speak out as a father, even acknowledging that Fantasia might distance herself from him because of his comments. He expressed concern that celebrities often face financial downfall due to misplaced trust.
Fantasia and Kendall Taylor, who have been married for 11 years, have not publicly responded to the accusations.
